God has my back

Lately all the troubles, the trials I've been going through

It's a battle I’m constantly fighting  and it gets rough at times

Lord knows I’m trying my best, yes he know I’m trying so hard

Many nights I find  myself on my knee
Saying a prayer with  tears flowing

Asking God to take away my fears

Asking God to wrap his arm around me

Asking God to protect me

Lately Family and Friends talking about me

It's a long journey I've been on

Lost  and gained new friends along the way

In the end, through all the struggles, I pray

God never said it would be easy for me

But God promised he would be there for me

Through the trials and tribulations

I know he has my back no matter what.
