Definition of Love

It suddenly hit me, while I was driving home, that Not many people knows what Love is, and what it actually mean.  I've experienced love, in a good and bad ways.  When I'm in love with someone, and I find myself trying to explain this love I have for this person. All I can say is that it's hard to describe, but easy to feel. I'm not quite sure how to tell a person that I love them, without making them feeling uncomfortable.  From my experience, sometime it is not really necessary saying it, but I can't help but feel that there is something about the inability to say it at all.  Maybe it's because of the fear of loving someone, and not getting one in return. I don't know.  It can be quite scary.

What's interesting about Love is that it has a way of making you feel weak for a good reason.  But, at the same time it makes you strong.  IT can be quite confusing, and I think that's the best part about love:  You just love LOVE that person regardless of how they act.  It seems to me, based on my experience, that everyone wants a definition about love, and to be honest with you.... I don't have any definition.  Let me tell you something about love.   I've always thought that Love includes so many things that I don't even know where to begin.  Let's start with Trust.  Love is Trust.   you have to trust to love someone.  Ever heard of this saying, " Love is and will always be a leap of faith."  It is true!  Nothing is a sure thing in Love.  You just have to trust.   Love is Selfless. Love lets you love someone with immutable qualities- your kindness, your integrity, your character, and you just want them to continue to grow as a better person.  Love is Selfish.  It lets you love someone for your own sake. It allows you want that person to make you a better person, finding a way to change for the better.  I never could understand why  most people shy away from love. I can’t help but think that the more one stresses over ‘knowing’ what love is, the more likely they will be to let it slip by. There is no way to ‘know’ other than by the standards you, and you alone, create for yourself.

Life is too short, so it's really important that we stop and tell that person that we truly love them.  It's worth the effort.
